Vegetable Fried Rice
Vegetable Fried Rice is a flavorful dish comprising mixed vegetables, scrambled eggs (optional), and seasoned rice stir-fried together. With aromatic garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil, it's a quick and versatile meal, perfect for utilizing leftover rice and adding variety to your menu.

Method Of Preparation
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- If using eggs, pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and scramble them until they are fully cooked. Remove the scrambled eggs from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sesame oil (or vegetable oil) and heat it up. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until they become fragrant and onions turn translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the diced mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp. If you're using ginger, add it along with the vegetables.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps with a spatula. Stir-fry the rice with the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour soy sauce over the rice and vegetables. Add salt, pepper, rice vinegar, and Sriracha sauce (if using). Mix everything well to combine.
- Return the scrambled eggs (if using) to the skillet and stir them into the rice mixture.
- Add chopped green onions and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well heated through and the flavors have melded together.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Remove the skillet from heat and serve the Vegetable Fried Rice hot as a standalone dish or as a side with your favorite Asian-inspired main course.
